A social enterprise working with street people and urban poor community

Reasons to book a tour with us

1. ts a well known fact that street people have the best knowledge about one's city. Our guides have designed and crafted these walking tours and they are not the same as offered by any other organisation. This means you will be experiencing a whole new perspective and new sights of Kuala Lumpur that you otherwise might not be able to experience.

2. Many of our street people and urban poor are often employed in menial jobs such as security guards, dish washers etc. While these jobs are good and allows them to earn an honest living, our street people have dreams too and aspire to achieve more - perhaps a decent place to stay? An opportunity like this allows them to do what they love, have a passion for and most importantly, be proud of their achievements.

3. Your bookings help your guides get back on their feet. 60% of the revenue goes back to your guide while 40% is retained by our organisation to sustain. Click here to see how else you can support.

4. We practice ethical business and good governance so you have a peace of mind that you are not engaging in poverty tourism.

5. Great value for the world currency because our ringgit (RM) is weak (boo!) making these tours affordable.

Governance Framework

Our good governance framework is based on our 4 pillars of sustainability.

We are committed to provide equal opportunities and all hiring is based on merit and suitability for the role. We will not be influenced by gender, race, colour, religion, sexual orientation, family status or disability. We fully endorse a working environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Our people are free to express their opinions and views and will not be treated with prejudice.

We aim to be as low carbon footprint as possible in our bid to be kind to the environment. This includes going paperless, on foot tours and marketing collateral that are recyclable.

We practice transparency in our business and uphold ethics. 60% of our revenue from tours goes to our guides where else 40% goes to sustain the business model. Each of our strategies undergo a risk assessment to ensure sustainability which defines our ultimate goal – a better lives for our beneficiaries.

Everything we do is governed by a purpose – to increase the employ ability of the marginalized community we work with so they may lead better sustainable lives.
